I work in retail where Chinese New Year is quite frustrating because it’s always longer at the factories and ports that we think it will be. I work in retail where Chinese New Year puts a stop to product development.

This year I was tired of being frustrated by Chinese New Year and instead decided that I wanted to enjoy and celebrate, so I headed to Chinatown.

Unfortunately my phone overheated and my videos didn’t turn out. I’d like to state for the record that the dragon dance was awesome (and a little scary when they set off massive strands of fireworks).
